Behind Salon Scherenwerk is a well-coordinated team for women's and men's cuts, colouring, balayage and bridal styling. You keep your dedicated contact person throughout.
Way of working
One person handles your appointment
Whoever advises, cuts and colours you at your first visit also does so the next time — so your hair history stays in one place and doesn't need to be retold every time.
Team alignment
Before a bigger colour change, a second person takes a look — especially with balayage and pre-coloured hair. Two pairs of eyes on the base colour and hair structure lead to a more considered decision. If someone is on holiday or ill, a colleague takes over using your notes from previous appointments, so the formula and cutting line are continued.
Ongoing training in the craft
Cutting technique, colour application and haircare knowledge remain a constant topic in the salon: we practise on mannequin heads and on models, attend seminars run by our product partners, and pass on what we've learned to the whole team in short sessions. New techniques only reach guests once the team is confident with them — not the day after the seminar.
Focus areas
Every technique has its specialist
Within the team, areas of focus are divided: cutting, colour technique, bridal styling and consultation. When you request an appointment, we match your request to the right person.
Cutting
Women's and men's cuts, from trimming a grown-out shape to a new line. We work on dry hair first, because that's where cowlicks, fall and density are visible, and we cut the shape so it can be recreated at home with just a few steps.
Colour technique
Colouring and balayage, root touch-ups, highlights and colour correction. Every colour starts by looking at the base colour and what was in the hair before. The formula used is noted down and continued at the next appointment.
Bridal styling
Updos and loose hair for the wedding day, with a trial appointment before the actual date. We coordinate hairstyle, dress and jewellery and document the result so it comes together quickly on the day itself.
Consultation
The conversation before the first cut: hair structure, at-home care routine and the effort a shape takes in everyday life. We'll also tell you if a wish isn't feasible for your hair and show you the closest alternative.
Craftsmanship comes from repetition
Hitting the same cutting line cleanly on the third visit is harder than inventing it. That's why we note down formulas, cutting sequences and your preferences — and regularly practise the techniques behind them as a team.

Every appointment follows the same process, no matter who's at the chair — this makes results predictable and keeps things short to arrange.

Arrange a time
We'll suggest appointments within our opening hours — Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday and Friday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Receive confirmation
You'll receive written or verbal confirmation of the service, duration and time. For colour appointments, we'll let you know about a possible prior patch test.
Within the team
Preferred stylist and cover
When booking your appointment, let us know who you'd like to sit with – we'll reserve that slot for you.
If your stylist is on holiday or at a training course, a colleague will take over using your client card: it contains the colour formula with mixing ratio and processing time, the technique used last, and your cut length. Before the first cut, the substitute will go through these details with you. For bridal styling, two people work in parallel – one on the hair, one on hold and accessories.
- Name your preferred stylist: Tuesday and Wednesday are the quietest days, Thursday and Friday after 5:00 pm are the busiest.
- Colour appointments take longer than cuts – for balayage we allow three to four hours, so please get in touch early.
- Bring photos of the look you want to your first appointment and please tell us which colour or tint has been in your hair over the past twelve months.
- If you're unsure, book a short consultation beforehand, then we'll work out the technique and time needed together.
