At our salon, a women's cut always includes the consultation beforehand, washing, cutting and styling afterwards – none of this is billed separately.

What we pay attention to
Four points of focus at the chair
Thick, fine, straight and curly hair each require a different cutting technique – which is why every cut with us begins with a look at the crown, fall and growth pattern.
Cutting technique based on hair structure
We check density, fall and crown, then decide how much layering the hair can carry. For curly hair, we cut more conservatively, as the hair springs up while drying.
Care during washing
At the basin, we choose shampoo and conditioner to suit your scalp and lengths. Coloured hair receives a gentler cleanse than untreated hair.
Styling to take home
At the end, we blow-dry the cut into shape and explain the grip, brush technique and sequence so you can recreate the look at home.
Care recommendation
You'll learn which products suit your hair structure and how often a trim makes sense. You're welcome to buy, but there's no obligation.
The cut follows the hair
We work strand by strand and make final corrections on dry hair, because that's when the fall truly shows. If it doesn't sit right in the morning without tools, it's not a good cut.

How your haircut appointment works
From arriving at Deichstraße to the finished styling, we follow the same sequence – leaving time for consultation without the appointment running long.

Arrival and consultation
You take a seat with dry hair, we look at your face shape, length and roots, and talk about what you want. This is also where we clarify how much maintenance the cut will need in everyday life.

Wash and scalp massage
At the basin, we cleanse the hair with a product suited to your scalp and lengths, and work a treatment into the lengths.

Cutting wet hair
We set the base line, work out the layering and check the symmetry along the way. For curly hair, we deliberately cut longer than the desired length.

Dry correction
After blow-drying, we check the line again and take off the last few millimetres – it's only once the hair is dry that you can see where it really falls.

Styling and care recommendation
To finish, we blow-dry the cut into shape, show you the techniques for doing this yourself, and recommend a sensible interval until your next appointment.
Planning your appointment
Duration and price range
A women's haircut with us takes about an hour, depending on hair length and effort, including consultation, washing and blow-drying.
What the appointment costs depends on the length, density and desired finish: a cut with smooth blow-drying takes less time than a round-brush style with volume at the roots. We'll give you the binding price during the consultation, before the scissors are picked up. You can find our current price list on the Prices page.
- What determines the price: hair length from the chin down, hair density, number of layers to be cut, and the type of blow-dry
- Please come with unwashed, dry hair – this lets us see the natural fall and growth pattern undisturbed
- Bring two or three pictures you like; pictures you don't like also help us understand your preferences
- Tell us how much time you have for styling in the morning – we'll shape the cut accordingly
- For a bigger change, please allow around 15 extra minutes for the consultation
- Appointments by arrangement; on Thursdays and Fridays we're open for you until 8:00 pm
After your appointment
Care at home
A cut only looks as good as it can be restyled at home. That's why, at the end of your appointment, we take the time to explain how the shape comes together – which brush, which blow-drying direction, how much product.
We demonstrate it on our own hair, not on a model, and you're welcome to try the technique yourself.
Washing and drying
Wash lukewarm, apply conditioner only to the lengths, not the roots. Press hair out in a towel rather than rubbing it – this protects the cuticle layer and prevents frizz.
Blow-drying with shape
First pre-dry to about 70 percent, then work section by section with a round brush and finish each section with a blast of cold air. The cold shot sets the shape so it lasts through the day.
Appointment rhythm
Short styles and fringes need a touch-up every four to six weeks, long hair every ten to twelve weeks. We trim the fringe in between as needed.
