How long does a men's haircut take with you?

Plan on about 45 minutes: consultation and hair check, washing at the basin, the cut itself, contouring at the neck and ears, and the finishing style. For a first appointment, we allow a few extra minutes to go over hair structure, crown pattern and growth direction together.

What determines the price?

The effort involved, not the hair length alone. A classic scissor cut is less expensive than a fade blended together with several clipper guards and scissors. Extras like beard contouring, scalp massage or a colour refresh are charged separately, and we tell you the amount before we start.

How often should I come in for a trim?

Short fades and shaved-in contours look grown out after four to five weeks, while longer cuts hold their shape well for eight to ten weeks. If you like, we'll book your follow-up appointment right after this one — that way your usual slot stays free.

Do you also cut beards and contours?

Yes. We shape the contour at the cheeks, neck and hairline transition and trim the beard to suit the shape of your head. Just let us know at your appointment so we can plan the time for it.

Do I need to come with washed hair?

No, that's not necessary. We wash your hair at the basin before the cut, since damp hair can be sectioned more precisely and trimmed more evenly. On the day of your appointment, try to avoid using a lot of wax or hairspray.

Can I just walk in without an appointment?

Spontaneous slots do come up, but they can't be planned for. Give us a quick call or book online — that way your time is firmly reserved and you won't have to wait.

How we work

The contour determines how long the cut lasts

We work out the neck, ears and temples last – on dry hair, because the line can only be judged honestly once the hair has fallen into place.

Care between appointments

Short hair forgives little: too much product weighs down the hairline, and blow-drying too hot roughens the ends. Three habits are usually enough.

A hazelnut-sized amount is enough

Distribute the styling product in your palms and work it into towel-dried hair – don't dab it onto the roots, or it will look flat.

Finish blow-drying with cool air

Blow-dry the final seconds on the cool setting. This closes the hair's cuticle layer, and the style noticeably holds longer than if you finish with heat.

Trim again after four to six weeks

That's how long a fade stays crisp. If you lose the contour sooner, just drop by in between for the neck area only.

Care for the scalp too

With short hair, the scalp is visible. A mild shampoo without heavy silicones soothes tightness and dandruff in winter.

Don't trim it yourself

A neckline shortened at home costs length at the next appointment, since the line has to be rebuilt from scratch. It's better to stop by briefly instead.
