What a treatment costs depends on hair length, technique and effort involved. We'll give you the price range before we start – by phone or in the salon.

What determines the price
Two guests with the same request may pay different amounts — not because we calculate freely, but because hair is not all the same.
The biggest factor is time at the chair: a balayage on shoulder-length, untreated hair requires fewer sections than the same technique on long, repeatedly coloured hair. Added to this are the amount of colour and bleach used, as well as extra steps such as toning or conditioning treatments. We discuss these points before the first brushstroke.
Time at the chair
Every service has a time window: a men's cut takes around 30 to 45 minutes, a women's cut with wash and finish about an hour, a balayage with toner three to four hours. If the window extends because more sections are treated, the price rises accordingly.
Hair length and density
From shoulder length onwards, and with very thick hair, bleach, colour and care products require more product and more hands. We state this length surcharge openly rather than hiding it in the base price.
Hair history
Previous colourings, henna, straightening or home dyeing remain in the hair and react differently. Sometimes two sessions are needed to reach a goal gently — we tell you this beforehand, not afterwards.
Technique
All-over colour, root colour, foil highlights, balayage and babylights differ significantly in effort. Freehand techniques like balayage are applied strand by strand and need corresponding time.
Amount of product
Colour and bleach are freshly mixed for each appointment. We calculate based on actual consumption, not a flat maximum amount — with short hair, you pay correspondingly less.
Additional steps
Conditioning treatment before bleaching, toner to fine-tune the result, or a scalp treatment are separate items. They are never mandatory; we only recommend them when the condition of the hair calls for it.
Advance estimate
How your cost range comes about
No one should find out what a treatment costs only at the till. For colour, balayage and bridal styling, we therefore give you a from–to range before the appointment — in four steps.
You tell us your wishes by phone or message and send two photos along: one in daylight without flash of dry, loose hair, and one close-up of the roots. From these we can determine the base tone, length and how much old colour is still present. Please also tell us what has been done to your hair in the last twelve months — including home colouring and natural dyes such as henna.
We get back to you with a price range and a realistic duration, both broken down by item: cut, colour, toner, care. At the same time, we let you know whether your goal is achievable in one appointment or whether we should work across two sessions. This way you know what you're getting into before booking.
At the start of the appointment we look at and feel the hair, check the scalp and hair structure, and for bleaching we do a test strand in a hidden spot. We then set the price within the stated range. We only begin once you've agreed — and we'll tell you openly if a particular wish isn't suited to your hair.
If it turns out during the treatment that an additional step would make sense — for example a second toner because yellow tones are coming through — we ask first and state the extra cost. The final bill lists each item with its price, not a total sum without explanation. You can pay by cash or card.
Terms explained
Techniques and what they cost
Many price differences are explained by technique. Here are the three paths to lighter hair side by side — with what they deliver and what they require.
Root colour
- Only the regrown root is coloured, the lengths remain untouched
- Lowest product use and therefore the most affordable colour appointment
- Due every four to six weeks so no line forms
- Doesn't change the tone of the lengths — anyone wanting it lighter needs more
Foil highlights
- Strands are sectioned off and lightened in foil, the result is even
- Easy to plan in terms of duration and price, as the technique follows the head
- More product and steps involved than with a root colour
- The regrowth becomes more visible than with a freehand technique
Balayage
- Applied freehand with a brush, the transition blends softly into the natural hair
- Grows out subtly, so the gap between appointments gets longer
- Three to four hours in the chair, usually with a matching toner
- The most elaborate and therefore most expensive of our colour options
