Bridal styling with calm and a plan
We coordinate your styling in a trial appointment and style your hair ourselves on the wedding day – to match your dress, jewellery and the schedule you've planned for the day.
Styling with lead time
A bridal style doesn't come together on the wedding morning, but weeks beforehand: in conversations about the dress, jewellery and the schedule for the day.
What we want to know in advance
The shape and hold of a hairstyle depend on the dress: a high round neckline calls for a different line than a backless gown. That's why we look at photos of the dress, talk about veil, hair accessories and earrings, and discuss how the day is timed – an outdoor ceremony, a morning registry appointment, or celebrations into the night.
What to bring

- Veil, hair comb, pins or flowers you'd like to wear
- Earrings and necklace, so the height of the style suits them
- Two or three pictures of hairstyles you like
- Ceremony time and reception venue
- Notes on hair length, extensions or desired colour
What bridal styling consists of
Four elements belong together: the initial consultation, the trial appointment, the styling on the wedding day, and coordinating for both partners.
Initial consultation
We look at the dress, jewellery and your pictures, check hair length and texture, and note which styles are possible. We also clarify colour requests here, since colouring needs its own lead time.
Trial appointment
At the trial appointment we fully style the agreed-upon look, add veil and hair accessories, and photograph the result from every angle. Anything that doesn't convince us is adjusted on the spot.
Styling on the wedding day
On the day itself, we follow the schedule set at the trial appointment: washing, setting, pinning, adjusting the veil. At the end, we test the hold with movement – turning the head, an embrace, climbing stairs.
Coordinating for both partners
On request, we style both partners the same morning, one right after the other. We prefer to schedule the men's haircut and beard shaping a few days earlier, so the lines have already settled in by the wedding day.
Trial
How the trial appointment works
The trial appointment ideally takes place four to six weeks before the wedding and lasts around two hours. We work on your actual hair, not on a mannequin: every pinned-up style holds differently depending on length, thickness and texture.
Whatever we decide at the trial appointment is noted down, with product names, number of pins and the steps involved, so the style can be repeated on the wedding day without any guesswork.

Discussion and materials (approx. 20 minutes)
We look together at photos of the dress, veil, hair accessories or comb, and check what the hairstyle needs to support. Please bring the actual hair accessories, not just a picture of them.

Hair analysis
We check hair length, density, texture, and whether colouring or a root touch-up should still be done before the wedding day. This tells us whether the style will hold on its own or needs extra preparation.

Pinning the first option
We create the desired style and view it in the mirror, in profile and from behind. Photos from every angle are part of this, since you won't see your own hairstyle from behind on the wedding day.

Second option or correction
Often the final shape only emerges on the second attempt: set higher, looser, with or without loose strands framing the face. Seeing both options makes the decision easier than any description could.

Schedule and notes
By the end, we know how long the styling will take on the wedding day, when to begin, and which products we'll use. This note is kept ready for the wedding day.
The day
Scheduling on the wedding day
On the wedding day, one thing matters most: the hairstyle must be finished before the first appointment becomes pressing. That's why we work backwards from the ceremony time and build in a buffer of 30 to 45 minutes. The plan looks different depending on how many people are being styled.
Around 90 minutes of pure styling time
Washing and preparation, blow-drying or pre-curling, then pinning and fixing. Afterwards we fit the veil and hair accessories together with you, so you can see how both sit and how they come off again.
Appointment at the salon
We schedule the appointment as early as possible on an opening day, so the salon is quiet. On Saturdays we open at 9:00 am, on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 am.
Think of make-up separately
Make-up is not part of our range of services. Plan it in after the hairstyling, so nothing gets smudged while pinning up the hair – we're happy to tell you the right order of appointments.
Order from back to front
The maid of honour, mother or sister go first, with the bride last. That way your hairstyle is the freshest when you leave the salon.
Time required per person
For a pinned-up style for companions we allow 45 to 60 minutes, and around 30 to 45 minutes for a braided or curled style. With more than two additional people, we discuss the line-up in advance.
One point of contact
We clarify in advance who will coordinate the arrangements. Having one person who knows the schedule prevents queries on the morning of the wedding.
Men's haircut beforehand, not on the day
A men's haircut looks most natural two to three days after the appointment. We recommend it at least three days before the wedding, with only styling and beard finishing on the day itself.
Parallel or one after another
Both are possible. Anyone who doesn't want to see each other beforehand gets separate time slots – just let us know when booking the appointment.
Colouring and regrowth
We schedule colouring or balayage well ahead of the trial appointment. That way the colour has settled in and the regrowth sits calmly.
